We believe education travels best when communities travel with it.
African Link & Global Education was founded to remove the friction between intent and opportunity — across borders, languages, and life stages.
From Ottawa to across the continent — and back.
African Link & Global Education was born from a simple but urgent observation: talented students, skilled professionals, and forward-thinking institutions on both sides of the Atlantic lacked a reliable bridge to connect them. Founded in Ottawa, our organization began by helping African students navigate the Canadian admissions process and has grown into a multi-service platform spanning tutorials, work placement, conferences, and institutional twinning.
Today we serve learners and institutions in more than twelve African countries, partner with over forty Canadian colleges and universities, and operate a bilingual team committed to equity, access, and long-term community building.
To open Canadian and international education to every motivated learner.
We work with students and professionals from Africa and around the world to navigate admissions, immigration, work permits, and cultural transition — and we connect institutions across continents through twinning partnerships that outlast any single cohort.
Five values that shape our work.
Equity of access
We work hardest for applicants who are first in their families to study or work abroad.
Long-term partnership
We are in this for decades — alumni, partner colleges, host cities, and home communities.
Cultural fluency
Bilingual, multi-continental, and grounded in the realities of newcomer life.
Practical guidance
Real answers about visas, costs, housing, and the first weeks in a new country.
Open doors, both ways
Canadians studying in Africa matters as much as students arriving in Canada.
